Rage City Rollergirls is the trade name of Anchorage Women's Derby, Inc., a nonprofit corporation in the state of Alaska. The incorporators are the founders, three of whom are officers and sit on the Board. The Chairs of the organization's other committees sit on the Board as well. We are counseled by The Foraker Group, insured by USA Roller Sports, and governed by the Women's Flat Track Derby Association rules, from which we are working toward sanction.
Rage City Rollergirls range in age from 24 to 52. We are White, Native, Black, and Hispanic. We are daycare providers, office managers, mail carriers, salespeople, stay-at-home moms, medical assistants, customer service agents, students, educators, chefs, printers, servers, truck drivers, H.R. managers, bookkeepers, business owners, program managers, debt collectors, mechanics, insurance auditors, land surveyors, engineers, and corporate lawyers.

Rage City Rollergirls operates on a basic code of conduct: members are required to act respectfully with one another, our sponsors, our audiences, and the Alaskan community. We promote good-natured entertainment, fun, and sportsmanship during skating and sanctioned events and maintain a high level of integrity. Actions by RCR members reflect upon the integrity of the entire league and the sport of roller derby throughout the country. Any RCR member that fails to uphold this general code of conduct risks expulsion from the league.
