Military Appreciation Night!

Your Rage City Rollergirls say “THANK YOU” to our military and wrap up the season with an Anchorage – Valley showdown you won’t want to miss!

May is right around the corner and your Rage City Rollergirls are wrapping up another successful season with a big shout-out to our amazing military and their families.  May is Military Appreciation and Rage City is celebrating in a big way with the baddest, showdown yet  – Rage City versus the Boom Town Derby Dames from Palmer!  Catch the Anchorage – Valley showdown on Friday, May 3rd at the Dena’ina Center in Downtown Anchorage.

That’s right –
Friday night.  Doors open at 6 pm, wheels roll at 7pm.

Fans – come in costume and do the “Harlem Shake” at half time for a chance to score a sweet $100 gift certificate from Body Piercing Unlimited/Tattoos By Shelly.   Shake your tail feathers for the camera because you’ll be a YouTube star.  Now all your friends will know how you really dance.

And don’t forget to donate your tresses, 10 inches or longer, to Locks of Love. Meg Allen Salon will be on site to quickly clip your coif and you’ll walk away with a coupon for a free haircut at the salon.  You’ll also feel great about donating your hair to help Locks of Love create medical hairpieces for children in need.

General admission and reserved seating tickets are available through your favorite roller girl or online at Ticketmaster.  Limited tickets are available the day of the event.  General admission seating is first-come, first-served and only guarantees admittance into the event. Arrive early for the best seating.

Save gas and beat the downtown parking – catch the courtesy shuttle at 6:00pm from The Peanut Farm on Old Seward.  Afterwards hit the after party at The Peanut Farm and dance the night away with your favorite roller girl.
